Nno one would have been surprised if Hasan Salihamidžić had preferred to remain silent on Sunday night after FC Bayern Munich lost 2-1 at Leverkusen and were off the top of the table for the first time since early November. But the sports director of FC Bayern was cooking, he wanted to communicate emotionally and impulsively, this type of crisis communication is known to be part of the club culture in Munich.
Salihamidžić was a bit confused. He didn’t know “the name of the feelings” he was feeling, he explained, which he probably wanted to show that there is no suitable expression to describe this very special mixture of anger, frustration and disappointment that the appearance of the teams had generated in him.
