In the last discipline, i.e. the 1000-meter run, the Estonian finished in two minutes and 39.50 seconds, showing the second best result, which allowed him to move from fourth to third position in the total of all disciplines.
The first place with a total of 6348 points was won by the Frenchman Kevin Mayer, who won the European indoor championship in 2021, while the second place with 6318 points and a new national record was taken by the Norwegian athlete Sander Skotheim.
Lillemets, meanwhile, scored 6,079 points across all disciplines and achieved its best result of the season.
