The Korea Employment Agency for the Disabled (Chairman Cho Hyang-hyun) announced on the 7th that it had signed a business agreement with the Jeonnam Disabled Sports Association for the location of the wheelchair badminton team.
In February, the Employment Agency for the Disabled held a public contest for the location of the wheelchair badminton team for the National Sports Association for the Disabled, and finally selected Jeonnam.
According to this agreement, the disabled employment agency’s wheelchair badminton team, which is about to be established this month, trains in cooperation with the Jeonnam Disabled Sports Association and participates in the national disabled sports competition as Jeonnam’s representative. The 43rd National Paralympic Games, which will be held this year, will be held at Mokpo Sports Complex in November hosted by Jeonnam.
Cho Hyang-hyeon, chairman of the Employment Agency for the Disabled, said, “According to the obligation to establish a workplace sports department in a public institution, we have established the first wheelchair badminton team under the Ministry of Employment and Labor.
