Draymond Green has concerns over Warriors chances

Particularly irregular this season, the Golden State Warriors have still not found the right formula. However, Draymond Green and its partners should succeed in qualifying for the Playoffs. Currently in 6th place, can the reigning NBA champion still play the leading roles in this exercise?

As it stands, even the interior of the Dubs has doubts. The reason for his concerns? The combined absences ofAndrew Wiggins and of Gary Payton II. Defensively, both men have a major role for the Californians.

And without them, Green recognizes a very difficult challenge for Golden State.

“Honestly, it’s going to be tough. To be without two of your best defenders on the wing. We’re talking about two super athletic guys – two of the most athletic guys in the team – that really shouldn’t be underestimated.

It’s so huge, especially when you get to the Playoffs,” Draymond Green recalled for his podcast.

As a reminder, Wiggins, for personal reasons, has been on the sidelines since mid-February. For his part, Payton II, injured, should return before the end of the regular season. If the ex-Portland Trail Blazers player manages to find a good form before the Playoffs, he will clearly have a vital role to play. Especially if Wiggins doesn’t come back.

In the meantime, Draymond Green and his family must fight to get a direct ticket to the Playoffs.
