Challenge Tour: Lorenzo Scalise takes the lead, three Frenchmen in the top 20 in India

Double blow for Lorenzo Scalise. This Saturday, the Italian returned a card of 65 (7 birdies), the best in the field, and took control of the tournament (-15). Two strokes behind, in second place (-13), we find a quartet made up of the Spaniard Victor Pastor, the Swede Rikard Karlberg, the Englishman Ashley Chesters and the Indian Om Prakash Chouhan.

Three players are in 6th place, at -11. They are Irishman Niall Kearney, Welshman Oliver Farr and Scottishman Craig Howie. In 9th position (-10), the top 10 is completed by the Italian Lorenzo Gagli, the Norwegian Elias Bertheussen, the Indian Aman Raj and the Scottish Liam Johnston. The first Frenchman, Ugo Coussaud, is 13th. Like Thursday, the pupil of Olivier Léglise finished his third round in 70 shots thanks to 5 birdies and despite 3 bogeys. At -9, we also find Manuel Elvira. Leader after the first and second round, the Spaniard was in more difficulty this Saturday, returning a card of 74 (2 birdies, 4 bogeys).

Two other French people in the top 20

Two Tricolors are 17th, at -8. They are Pierre Pineau and Benjamin Hebert. The first completed the course in 69 shots (5 birdies, 2 bogeys) while the second returned a card in par (2 birdies, 2 bogeys). Among the other French present in India, Tom Vaillant and Frédéric Lacroix rank 25th (-7), Félix Mory is in 33rd position (-6), Mathieu Decottignies-Lafon and Berardo Clément are 43rd (-5) and Robin Roussel takes the 54th place (-3).
