Carlo Ancelotti after interview Eden Hazard: “We don’t talk much, but relationship is not bad” | Primera Division

Real Madrid will play in the 1/8th finals of the Champions League against Liverpool on Wednesday, but the press conferences in which coach Carlo Ancelotti was asked whether Eden Hazard would take action are also a thing of the past.

It’s not that Hazard is completely persona non grata, but the former national team captain just doesn’t fit into Real and his T1’s plans anymore.

And yet Hazard, he told RTBF last weekend, does not necessarily think of a transfer this summer.

The Real disappointment also revealed in the interview that he is not immediately having extensive conversations with the coach who invariably lets him sit on the bench.

“That doesn’t mean we have a bad relationship,” Carlo Ancelotti said today. “But Eden has been open and honest and it’s true: we don’t talk much to each other.”

“It’s not that important to me either. Eden respects me, although he doesn’t play much. And I respect Eden.”

“The reason why he plays little is because there is a lot of competition and there is a very important player in his position with Vini Jr..”
