Between Real Madrid and Brazil, Carlo Ancelotti has made his choice

A lot of rumors have been surrounding Carlo Ancelotti’s future for many weeks. A departure from Real this summer is plausible.

There is one year left on Carlo Ancelotti’s contract, but as we know, any Real Madrid coach who does not get a result at the end of the season is out except in exceptional cases. The Italian was no exception in 2015, however, and Madrid management are unlikely to be less lenient if the result is the same as their first spell.

Brazil no longer hides

Since the failure of Brazil in Qatar and the departure of Tite, it is common knowledge that the Brazilian Federation has made Carlo Ancelotti its target to take over the Seleçao and restore its colors in international competitions. No coach has yet been appointed because we want to take our time and we especially expect what the future of the Italian is made of.

In recent weeks, Brazil’s players have spilled the beans on this declared interest, starting with Manchester City goalkeeper Ederson. “There is a good chance that he will come (in selection). I spoke with Casemiro, Militao and Vinicius and they tell me that he is an exceptional coach, that everyone loves him”, a- he declared before the last rally.

However, according to information from Marca, there is no guarantee to date that Carlo Ancelotti will become the coach of the Brazilian selection in the coming months. Indeed, and as the Italian has said many times, he will only leave Real Madrid when Madrid leaders ask him to leave. And he won’t leave before.

According to Marca, Ancelotti has not signed up with the Brazilian Federation and Real Madrid has not made a decision on the future of its coach either. In this sense, the most probable hypothesis to date is a continuity of the Italian even if it is the results that will or will not give him the opportunity to continue until 2024.

Finally, Marca adds that nothing in the daily life of the club has so far cast doubt in the mind of Carlo Ancelotti. The Italian still takes part in meetings aimed at planning next season and no major recruits are expected during the off-season. A roadmap that will suit Carlo Ancelotti who will take the squad as it is next season (if we leave him the keys to the truck).
