Weißenfels (dpa) – The basketball players from Syntainics MBC have continued their sporting descent. The team from Weißenfels clearly lost 82:93 (29:47) against BG Göttingen on Saturday in front of their home crowd. After the fourth defeat in a row, the advantage over the first relegation zone is still only six points.
Till Pape (24), Geno Crandall, Javon Bess (16 each), Mark Smith (13) and Rayshaun Hammonds (12) had the greatest share in the success of the Lower Saxony. Kris Clyburn (17), Kostja Mushidi (13) and John Bryant (10) scored the most points for the Weißenfels team.
The Weißenfelsers were lost from the start. The hosts never recovered from the 1:12 false start (4th) throughout the game.
