“It is a project carried out by the Italian Archery Federation, following an initiative of the Ministry of Education and supported by the Ministry of Sport & Health, which consists in offering, totally free of charge, a course in archery arc aimed at all children aged between 9 and 13 and also at all their family members who wish to approach this discipline. The initiative provides for 2 hours of instruction per week for a total of 6 months”. The promotional activity proposed by the sports federations, conveyed through the projects subsidized by “Sport and Health” continues with great interest in the direction of schools and families.

In addition to following up on the projects launched in 2020 of “Scuola Attiva Kids” and “Scuola Attiva Junior”, which allow archery to be carried out in elementary schools and lower middle schools, Fitarco will start also a new project, also to be implemented with funding from Sport and Health.

The target? Introduce the youngest to archery but, at the same time, further expand the audience of practitioners by including parents in the activities who, through the availability of the Companies and technicians on the Italian territory, will be brought to practice the archery discipline at the shooting ranges.

“A Scuola con l’Arco” is the title of the new project. Also in this case it will be Sport and Health to subsidize it thanks to access to the contributions allocated with the fund for the promotion of grassroots sporting activity.

The goal remains that of expanding the base of practitioners and bringing the youngest closer to archery but, at the same time, we will try to further increase the number of senior and master novices by including parents in the activities who, with the availability of the companies and Fitarco technicians, will be brought to practice the discipline at the federal companies: in fact, a basic archery course is provided for all of them, alongside initiatives aimed at training which will be aimed at both practitioners and technicians and managers of the companies themselves who, in addition to counting on new members, will also be able to take advantage of new archery materials.
