TRANSFERS The French sports newspaper L’Équipe mentions Anderlecht as one of the clubs showing interest in Haissem Hassan. That is a 21-year-old Frenchman who currently plays for Villareal B in the Spanish second division. He mainly plays as a right winger.
Hassan exchanged Chateauroux for Villareal in 2020, which then paid 2 million euros for him. With the Spaniards he first played a season with the second team in the third division. This was followed by a loan to Mirandes in the second division.
This season Hassan plays at Villareal B in the Spanish second division. He was allowed to start ten times and fill in fifteen times. His statistics are meager: only one goal and not a single assist. Despite this, he made his debut in the first team on 23 February. He was allowed to play for 23 minutes against Mallorca. After that, he did not play for the A-squad.
In addition to Anderlecht, according to LÉquipe, Lens, Bordeaux, Eibar, Alaves, Valladolid, Udinese, Brentford and Sunderland are also interested. Hassan is still under contract with Villareal until mid-2024.
