Already qualified for the knockout stages of the Eurocup, Paris Basketball lost at home against the London Lions

At the Halle Carpentier, Paris Basketball suffered its eighth Eurocup defeat of the season against the London Lions (85-96) on Tuesday. A score that does not change the standings, Paris remains fifth in Group B with two wins ahead of its evening opponent. Both teams were already guaranteed to qualify for the round of 16 of the competition.

With 10 points behind at the end of the first quarter (19-29), the Parisians had managed to come back up to the English at the break (49-49). When they returned from the locker room, however, they did not keep up as they saw the British escape. Despite the performances of Tyrone Wallace (22 points, 6 assists, 2 rebounds) and Juhann Begarin (18 points, 6 rebounds, 2 steals), the London collective was superior and well carried by Tomislav Zubcic and his 24 units.
