Vinicius disappears from FIFPro – AS.com

FIFPro, the world players union, announced the list of 26 nominees for the ideal XI of 2022 and the most notable absence is that of Vinicius Júnior, the Real Madrid attacker who was decisive in the conquest of the last titles of the white team and author of the goal in the Champions League final. The Brazilian is not considered by his teammates as one of the best forwards of the past season. On the other hand, there are others in his position like Neymar or Cristiano.

The XI of the year will be announced at the FIFA gala on February 27 in Paris. Among the 26 nominees, the ideal eleven will come out with the best players by demarcation. Despite the absence of Vinicius, Madrid sneaks in other prominent footballers in 2022 such as Courtois, Modric, Valverde and Benzema. There is also Casemiro, who went to United in the summer, and Rüdiger, signed from Chelsea by the white team in that same summer market.
