The athletes of the Under-13 and Under-17 categories began. In U13 men’s singles, Demetrio Pinto they won their group stage matches. Already in the quarterfinals, against a player one year older and with a higher level in the national ranking, the little man from Zamora fought one on one, finally falling in an even match by 21-16/26-24, having several points set. It was Vera Tuero, who, in the modality of mixed doubles, together with his partner from CB Valladolid, managed to climb to the second drawer of the podium, by winning all their matches except the one in the fight for gold, thus hanging the silver medal.

From there they went further, winning the following games, which allowed them to reach the semifinals, where they could not against their opponents, obtaining an important bronze medal, fruit of the perseverance shown.
