JSV Speyer Dominates JC Wiesbaden with Unified Team Performance

A total of six matches were lost by JC Wiesbaden without a fight

Speyer. Büttner’s furious debut sets the mood. With a unified team performance, the women of JSV Speyer confidently secured their second victory in the second fight of the season, even without a whole squad of international fighters. The JSV won 12-2 at home against the heavily decimated JC Wiesbaden team. Four Speyer fighters were used, including 15-year-old Alesia Büttner, who joined the JSV “Gymnastics Tigers” as a toddler and has now made it to the Bundesliga. With her courageous and courageous performance in the last fight of the long-decided encounter, she once again created a lot of tension and atmosphere, even if it wasn’t quite enough to get the point. Lea Schmid scored twice in her comeback after a long injury break, even in the weight class over 78 kilograms, against the German U18 and U21 champion Sofiia Svydka.

It was a shame that the guests were so weak in terms of personnel that a total of six matches were lost without a fight. Verena Thumm, Nadja Bazynski, Jessica Lindner, Katharina Keltjens, Bertille Murphy and Julia Holstein won points without a fight. Apart from Lea Schmid, it was Marlene Galandi, Jill Trenz, Teresa Zanker and Darja Dorowskich who won their points – all of them early through Ippon. Lara Schäfer from Wiesbaden was only able to win the last fight in the two rounds, in the first round against Jana Förtsch and in the second against Alesia Büttner, who scored one but then had to admit defeat. “It was a shame that she couldn’t reward herself for this blatant, courageous performance in her first Bundesliga match. But the team picked them up and recognized their great performance,” reports team boss Nadine Lautenschläger as an example of the good atmosphere and cohesion in the team, which ensures that she and her co-team boss Szaundra Diedrich are having a lot of fun to work with this team. Another example is that European Championship participant Seija Ballhaus traveled to Speyer specifically to be with the team on fight day and to cheer on, even though she herself could not be used. So everything is right, both athletically and personally, in the JSV women’s team.

We continue in June with the local derby at BC Karlsruhe.
