Because some of the spots are among the most beautiful in the world

The archipelago of the islands of Guadeloupe is made up of 5 islands and each of them offers unmissable diving spots starting with Sec-Pâté, a mythical site, considered one of the most beautiful in the world.. Halfway between the Saintes archipelago and Basse-Terre, there are three rocky peaks rising 150 meters deep. The first sec is at -14 meters and the deepest at -38 meters (this dive requires at least a PE 40 or level 2).

Among the other spectacular spots, the Grand Cul-de-Sac Marin, today partly protected by the Guadeloupe National Park, and the Passe à Colas, this site is located on the longest coral reef in the Lesser Antilles. and is a very fishy dive site. Other spots also deserve to be mentioned such as the Grottes du Nord Grande-Terre, the natural reserve of La Désirade and Petite-Terre with its cathedrals and caves, the shark caves… And why not a night dive in the famous Cousteau Reserve in Bouillante?

Because the archipelago is committed to protecting its biodiversity

Local actors are committed to the preservation of this biodiversity such as the Jardin des Colibris in Deshaies (Basse-Terre) which undertakes to plant a coral for any reservation made in one of their 5 unusual cabins, with open-air bathtubs.

La Dive Bouteille, a diving club based in Les Saintes, also contributes to the building by donating part of the price of their dives to Ocean Quest, an international company that works for the rehabilitation and protection of corals in France and overseas. In addition to the actions carried out for the preservation of corals, training in underwater biology is provided by various clubs such as Les Heures Saines and Seacret Dive for the knowledge and protection of biodiversity.
