Since September last year, Atsu has been a Hatayspor player. He played four games for the team, scoring his only goal the day before the earthquake. The Turkish club also said goodbye to the Ghanaian. “We will not forget you Atsu. Peace be with you. There are no words to describe our sadness. Rest in peace,” we read.
Atsu was also a representative of Ghana. He played 60 matches for the national team and scored 10 goals. “You served your country well, you will always remain in our hearts. Rest in peace” – we read on the official profile of the team.
