The Ceuta Basketball Federation will once again carry out informative conferences on basketball and women

The Ceuta Basketball Federation (FBC) has announced the training activities it has organized for the months of February, March, April and May.

The first training action is technical training for players in the infant, cadet and junior categories. They will focus on working on improving and reading the use of hand in hand, control of the ball and finishing. These sessions are directed by Óscar Pedroche and Borja Molinary. The sessions that take place on Fridays will be open doors for those coaches who wish to attend.

As of the last week of February, the FBC has offered free training talks for local coaches, with professional speakers from the world of basketball. They will be carried out online, once a month until April. They have also raised the “basketball and women” event, just like last year, with informative sessions, a 3-on-3 tournament and friendly matches for local teams. “We are working to be able to count on several relevant women from the world of basketball in our city. Last year we had the former basketball player Ana Junyer. This is one of our most important events of the year”, stated the technical director of the FBC, Borja Molinary.

One more year they will carry out the campus for the premini and pequebasket categories in the White Week. More information about this campus and about registration will be given in the coming weeks.

And in the month of April there will be a coach initiation course. A great opportunity for those who wish to train. And in May the Coach’s Week will be held, as in the previous edition, presentations will be offered via zoom, as well as in person, with a professional coach who will train with groups of players from our city. The speakers will be coaches who participated in the last Spanish Championship of Autonomous Children’s and Cadet Selections. “In last year’s edition we had José Ignacio Hernández, technical director of the Spanish Federation. It was a great opportunity for our attendees, who were able to learn alongside one of the great professionals in the world of basketball”, Molinary stressed.

With views already in the summer months, they have also raised the clinic for AEEB coaches, for the second weekend of July. This will be a joint activity with the Spanish Association of Basketball Coaches. The theme of this meeting will be basketball in training ages.

The FBC has highlighted on other occasions the importance of training for both its players, coaches and referees. With these activities they once again highlight their commitment to it, and invite all those interested to participate in them.
