Stefanos Tsitsipas qualified for the second round in Rotterdam

For his first match on the circuit since his final at the Australian Open, although he played for his country in the Davis Cup at the beginning of February, the Greek Stefanos Tsitsipas got rid of the Finn Emil Ruusuvuori. The 3rd in the world enforced the hierarchy by winning in two sets (7-5, 6-1).

However, the number 1 seed in Rotterdam was broken in the first set (2-4). But he broke as Ruusuvuori served for the set winner and pocketed the first set two games later. Threatening from the first face-off of the Finn in the second set, he took the service of the 52nd in the world at 2-1. Well on his feet after a complicated start to the match, the Greek rolled through to win 6-1.

In the second round, he will face the winner of the match between Benjamin Bonzi and Jannik Sinner scheduled for tomorrow at 11 a.m.
