Slovak defender Milan Skriniar, very close to leaving for the winter transfer window at Paris SG, has lost the confidence of his coach Simone Inzaghi.

Against AC Milan this Sunday evening (8:45 p.m.), Milan Skriniar will not wear the captain’s armband of Inter Milan as he is used to. Simone Inzaghi, the Intéristes coach, has decided to deprive him of this honor which could go to Lautaro Martinez. The former striker explained this choice linked to the attitude of the player during the transfer window.

“I don’t judge his choices, but I judge the man and the player. He’s a great guy, he works very well every day. He will probably start. Regarding the captain’s armband, we have hierarchies. Because of what happened, Skriniar will no longer be captain, but it has been quietly discussed with the club and the boy.” said Inzaghi quoted by The Team .

Skriniar was on the verge of signing for Paris SG but the transfer finally fell through. The international should therefore end his contract in Italy before leaving free next June to join the capital club.
