Who else is fighting for the day’s victory?

Almost traditionally, the Norwegians are to be valued highly. Especially Henrik Kristoffersen, who has already celebrated two victories in slalom this season. In addition, Clément Noël wants to present his best side at the home World Cup. On the other hand, Lucas Braathen, the leader in the discipline ranking, is out due to injury. The 22-year-old recently underwent appendectomy and hopes to be fit for the World Cup.

Three Swiss in the circle of favourites

The Swiss team is also aiming for places on the podium. Daniel Yule (car number 1) has already won twice this winter and, like Loïc Meillard (5), is one of the absolute top favourites. In addition, Ramon Zenhäusler (9) has regained his strength and recently showed second place in Schladming. Luca Aerni (21), Marc Rochat (22), Tanguy Nef (31), Sandro Simonet (38), Noel von Grünigen (50) and Joel Lütolf (54) complete the nine-man squad from the Alpine republic.

Is Feller involved at the front?

Neither in the competition in Schladming nor in the slalom in Kitzbühel was an Austrian on the podium. Above all, Manuel Feller (car number 6) will throw everything into the balance that this fact will change again today. Fabio Gstrein (11), Marco Schwarz (14), Adrian Pertl (17), Johannes Strolz (18) and Michael Matt (20) also have a good chance of a top result. In addition, the ÖSV team is completed by Dominik Raschner (36) and Simon Rueland (55).

      Straßer leads the DSV squad

Will Linus Straßer (car number 4) regain his self-confidence in the World Cup dress rehearsal? Most recently, the native of Munich had a bitter mishap at the night slalom in Schladming when, as last year’s winner, he had made a lot of plans and then threaded the second goal. Four other German runners will follow with later start times. For Sebastian Holzmann (35), Alexander Schmid (42), Fabian Himmelsbach (44) and David Ketterer (46) the jump to the second round will be the priority.
