Apparently KV Oostende is not only sporting in difficult papers. The club would also be on the ground financially.
On Wednesday it became known that Yves Vanderhaeghe is going to court to claim his money from his severance payment at KV Oostende. Other ex-players and ex-trainers would also be waiting for money.
At VTM News they are already using the word bankruptcy. “It even goes so far that, for example, some hotels no longer want to receive the players, because the club simply does not pay the bills,” it sounds.
The list of who still needs pennies would be long. “Small suppliers are waiting for their money. The sandwiches from the baker still have to be paid for and the club is no longer welcome in various hotels due to non-payment.”
