Scotland dominates Wales and awaits the XV of France

After their victory at Twickenham against the English, the Scots corrected the Welsh this Saturday at Murrayfield.

Like Ireland victorious this Saturday from the XV of France, Scotland is still in the running for the Grand Slam. In the wake of an excellent Finn Russell, the Scots – who had won at Twickenham against the English (23-29) at the opening – easily dominated the Welsh, this Saturday at Murrayfield, on the occasion of the second day of the Six Nations Tournament.

The Welsh in check

The XV du Chardon scored five tries, by Turner (209), Steyn (51st, 58th), Kinghorn (70th) and Mr. Fagerson (79). In 15 days, Gregor Townsend’s players will travel to the Stade de France to face the Blues.

For Wales, it’s a new disappointment after the slap received in Cardiff against Ireland (10-34). The return of Warren Gatland to the head of the team is, for the moment, a failure. While looming, on February 25, the reception of England at the Principality Stadium.
