Santi Aldama’s mustache signs 15 points and 6 rebounds against the Raptors

Throughout the history of the NBA, capillary figures have been drawn to remember the competition itself. In recent decades there has been a shift from the strident dyed Dennis Rodman to the famous beard of James Harden and now it is the gran canary Santi Aldama the one who joins the furry seal club with his bushy mustache. The man from Gran Canaria, with a mustache in front, added 15 points and 6 rebounds against the Raptors on a night in which the Grizzlies sealed their third consecutive loss (103-106).

The power forward from Gran Canaria was a starter in Taylor Jenkins’ rotation and the coach of the Tennessee franchise gave him 32 minutes on the track due to the absence of two of the strongholds of the squad as the all-star I Morant (with pain in a thigh) and the center Steven Adams (problems with one of his knees).

Aldama’s submachine gun was unleashed against the Raptors and counted up eight 3-point attempts, of which he scored two baskets from the long distance. However, from inside the goal he was more successful with three-for-three on two-point shooting. All this together with the four assists and two blocks that he placed on the Toronto team.

The best player of the team of the interior formed in the College Canterbury was Desmond Bane with 26 points and 4 assistswhich accompanied the 18 points and 8 rebounds of Jaren Jackson jr., who competes with Aldama for the position of starting power forward and who had a final triple to try to take the game to extra time.

The one who also could not be on the track at the FedEx Forum, in addition to the injured Adams and Morant, was Dillon Brooks who was serving his game suspension for attacking Donovan Mitchell last Saturday and starting a fight in which Santi himself was involved to trying to separate the crowd of players who crowded over the protagonists of the affront.

Collectively, the Grizzlies have lost their seventh game in the last eight games played, a record that despite the negative still keeps them as second ranked in the Western Conference with a record of 32 wins and 21 losses. Now they are separated by five wins from the leader, the Denver Nuggets, who register a 37-17 in total, while they are three wins ahead of the third in the table, the Sacramento Kings (29-23).

The Memphis team now plays on Wednesday against the Chicago Bulls and on the 11th against the Minnesota Timberwolves, two mid-table teams in their conferences and that could help Taylor Jenkins’ team to get out of the quagmire of defeats in which they are involved and try cut distance with the Nuggets.
