Ranking tournament for men U21 – German Judo Federation

The national coach of the men U21, Andreas Tölzer, was happy that this ranking tournament could now take place again in the normal framework in Strausberg after the Corona period. “With almost 100 participants, it was possible to determine the position of the athletes and the favorites prevailed in many weight classes,” he says, giving a positive assessment of the competition. The strongest weight class was up to 81 kg with 25 fighters.

After the tournament, the athletes moved to Kienbaum and will be training there with other judoka from the men’s division until Friday. On Sunday there was already the first technique and randori unit. The athletes are preparing for the German U21 Championships in early March in Frankfurt (Oder).
