Premier League: Marcel Sabitzer – England coach rages against ex-Bayern star – FOOTBALL

Apparently he quickly internalized the English hardness.

Marcel Sabitzer (28) only switched from FC Bayern to Manchester United about three weeks ago. On January 31, the last day of the transfer window, he exchanged the jersey of the German record champions for that of the English. And things are getting better and better for Sabitzer.

In the last three league games, the midfield veteran was in the starting XI. The ex-Bayern professional has not yet scored a goal or provided an assist, but Sabitzer still makes headlines and is a topic of conversation!

After his “Red Devils” made it 3-0 against Leicester City – Sabitzer was on the pitch for 80 minutes – guest coach Brendan Rodgers (50) raged towards the new United star. The reason for this was a scene from the first half. In a duel with Leicester professional Wout Faes (24), the Austrian came too late – and badly fouled the Dutchman. TV footage shows the ball long gone when the cleats of Sabitzer’s boot catch Faes’ knee. Painful, but probably not on purpose.

A clear red card for Rodgers! “It’s unbelievable that he didn’t get kicked off the pitch for this. I don’t understand why he was allowed to continue playing.” Because if Manchester had been sent off and outnumbered, the game would probably have gone in a different direction. Instead, United won for the eighth time in the past nine league games. The “Red Devils” are third in the Premier League and on course for the Champions League!

Sabitzer should also secure the qualification for the premier class. Coach Erik ten Hag (53) is already enthusiastic about his new star: “He is in good shape and is a very smart player. You could already see that in his first training session. But I didn’t expect anything else either. Marcel comes from Bayern Munich.”

Now he plays for United – and shows directly that he not only has a magic foot, but also masters the English toughness.
