Patrick Mouratoglou has ended his partnership with Stefanos Tsitsipas.

World No. 3 Stefanos Tsitsipas has ended his working relationship with his historic coach Patrick Mouratoglou, one of the most important coaches on the ATP and WTA circuits. The two had been collaborating together for several years, since the Greek was only seventeen, but as reported by the Greek portal Sports Feed, the two parties have decided to put an end to their relations for good..

Mouratoglou has worked in recent years with Serena Williams and Simona Halep and is now collaborating with young Danish talent Holger Rune, one of the new NextGens of the ATP Tour. From now on, Stefanos will no longer train in the coach’s academy in Nice and his only managers will remain his father Apostolos and former tennis player Mark Philippousis.

These last two were also close to the Greek talent at the last Australian Open, a tournament where many had noticed the absence of Patrick in the box of tennis players. Tsitsipas started the season in the best way, a long series of victories and twelve successes in the first thirteen games of the season.

Stefanos suffered a harsh disappointment in the latest challenge, the long-awaited Australian Open 2023 final against Serbian champion Novak Djokovic.

The latest news from Stefanos Tsitsipas.

Tsitsipas showed excellent tennis for this first part of the season, showing continuity both with Greece and on a personal level.

However, the tennis player abdicated in the Australian Open final, collapsing in three sets against Serbian champion Novak Djokovic. It was a highly anticipated match, the second Grand Slam final of his career and still against Novak, but the Greek talent fell short and was literally wiped out in the final act of the tournament.

An uneventful match and now Tsitsipas will be back on the pitch next week, on the tournament pitch ATP de Rotterdam. Tsitsipas is one of the most anticipated tennis players and according to many he is one of the main candidates to stop the title race of Novak Djokovic and Rafael Nadal.

Now the goal of the Greek talent are the ATP Masters 1000 in Indian Wells and Miami, on American hard courts, and a good tournament at Roland Garros.
