Out of the season for Presnel Kimpembe from Paris Saint-Germain

Next injury shock for PSG! In the league game against Olympique Marseille, Presnel Kimpembe was seriously injured. The 27-year-old will miss the rest of the season.

PSG coach Christophe Galtier announced Kimpembe’s end of the season after the game Prime Video. Officially, it is not yet known what kind of injury it is. Of course, Kimpembe is also missing against FC Bayern Munich in the round of 16 second leg of the Champions League on March 8th.

In the 14th minute, the French central defender suddenly failed when a chance arose. A little later, the TV cameras revealed that Kimpembe had hurt himself through no external influence.

PSG’s medical department immediately rushed onto the pitch with a stretcher to treat Kimpembe, who was writhing in pain. Two minutes later he was carried off the field with his hands over his face.

A PSG player was carried off the field with a stretcher last week. Neymar suffered an ankle injury and is also a doubt for the game against the German record champions. Paris lost the first leg 1-0.

PSG wins after injury shock

PSG ultimately won the game thanks to their superstars Kylian Mbappé and Lionel Messi. The French soccer champions prevailed 3-0 (2-0) and extended their lead over Marseille to eight points.

Messi and Mbappé scored each other’s goals and presented themselves in top form a week and a half before the round of 16 second leg at Bayern: First Mbappé (25th) scored after Messi’s preliminary work, then Messi (29th) after a pass from Mbappé – and after the break again Mbappé (55th) after a chip ball from the world champion.

It was the Frenchman’s 199 and 200 goals in the PSG jersey, Mbappé equaling the record set by club icon Edinson Cavani.
