Nuremberg after penalty thriller in the quarterfinals

The DFB Cup gets a real drama on Wednesday! 1. FC Nürnberg advanced to the quarter-finals after beating Fortuna Düsseldorf on penalties.

After the score is 1-1 at regular time, the teams have to go into overtime. In this no decision is made, so it goes to penalties, which Nürnberg wins 5:3 in front of the home crowd.

Everything looks like a victory for Dusseldorf. Although Nuremberg makes a much better impression, the guests take the lead through Dawid Kownacki (33rd).
