According to Mark Garafolo NFL Network, Derek Carr will visit the New York Jets this weekend. This will be the second formation encountered by the quarterback.
The 31-year-old veteran was released earlier this week by the Las Vegas Raiders after nine seasons.
The Jets have publicly mentioned wanting to add Carr in the offseason alongside Zach Wilson, who lost his starting quarterback job to Mike White and Joe Flacco.
New York was also attached to Aaron Rodgers. His former offensive coordinator with the Green Bay Packers, Nathaniel Hackett, was hired in that role with the Jets.
