More than 500 young people from Cuauhtemense participate in the Conade 2023 State Games |

*The Municipal Government supports them with lodging, uniforms, transportation and part of the food

*Cuauhtémoc will host Indoor Volleyball

Cd. Cuauhtémoc, Chih.- Paúl Íñiguez, in charge of Adapted Sports and Federated Sports, at the Municipal Institute of Physical Culture and Sports, reported that more than 500 young people from Cuauhtémoc, between the ages of 14 and 17, participate in the Conade State Games 2023.

They compete in the disciplines of: athletics, chess, badminton, 3×3 and 5×5 basketball, boxing, baseball, handback, women’s soccer, softball, table tennis, cycling, tae kwon do, indoor and beach volleyball, racquetball and wu shu.

He mentioned that the tournaments take place in 5 venues during the month of February: Cuauhtémoc, Chihuahua, Juárez, San Francisco de Conchos and Camargo.

The selective mountain biking, in the Youth C category, did the one, two, three, that is, they won the gold, silver and bronze medals, last weekend. The champions are: Erick González Arvizu (1st place), Elías Fong Pérez (2nd place) and Ramón Acosta Andujo (3rd place).

Next week, Cuauhtémoc will host Indoor Volleyball and the venues where the teams from different municipalities will face each other will be: Cuauhtémoc Polyforum, Municipal Gym, Cuauhtémoc Technological Gym, and the CBTis 117 and CBTa 90 Gyms.

Íñiguez reported that the Municipal Government of Cuauhtémoc through the Municipal Institute of Physical Culture and Sports, supports the 500 representatives with lodging, uniforms, transportation and part of the food.

From the results of these sporting events, the selection will be made to represent the state of Chihuahua in different disciplines, in the Conade National Games.
