Martin Couvra wins in South Africa

French amateur hopeful Martin Couvra won the South African Stroke Play Championship on Thursday after four controlled rounds. He becomes the third Frenchman in seven years to win this prestigious tournament.

After taking 16th place last week at Leopard Creekthe player White Earth brilliantly established itself in the South African Stroke Play Championship on the course of Mount Edgecombe Country Club Estate in Durban.

A cadet of choice
