The Famu athlete, number 42 in the world ranking in her category (-63 kilos), starts as second favorite in this event, only behind the Hungarian Brigitta Varga, number 35, although below her is very close to the Croatian Katarina Kristo , number 43 and who also attends the Bulgarian tournament.
The Kazakh Zarina Saripova -189 in the ranking- will be Laura Vázquez’s first rival in an international event in which the judoka from Vigo aspires to finish on the podium.
