Kevin Trapp extends contract with Frankfurt

The former PSG goalkeeper is now linked with the German club until the summer of 2026.

German goalkeeper Kevin Trapp has extended his contract with Eintracht Frankfurt for two more seasons until the summer of 2026, the club announced in a statement on Friday.

After a first stint in Frankfurt from 2012 to 2015, Trapp played for three seasons at Paris SG, before returning to Eintracht in the summer of 2018.

At 32, he won the Europa League (C3) last season and has six selections with the Mannschaft. In November, he took part in the World Cup in Qatar, replacing Manuel Neuer, as did Marc-André ter Stegen (FC Barcelona).

This season, Eintracht Frankfurt is still engaged in the round of 16 of the Champions League and the German Cup, and after 18 days occupies 6th place in the Bundesliga, in ambush of Bayern Munich to five points (37 against 32).
