Thomas Sassi called up by the Italian Judo Cadet National Team for the European Judo Cup Competition in Zagreb in Croatia on 11 and 12 March. Saturday 18 and Sunday 19 February were days full of commitments for the Judo Shiai society of Piacenza. In fact Thomas Sassi and Francesca Trongone were involved in Spain for the European Cup race in Fuengirola, here Thomas Sassi managed to get a fifth place (best Italian men’s result of the first day) while Francesca Trongone was stopped after a beautiful match by the French athlete Sacko Nene. On the Italian side of the province of Bergamo about 20 Preagonist and Agonist athletes played excellent matches at the 10th CSEN Judo Youth Tournament. Next Saturday Alex D’Aguanno will fight in the Italian A2 Judo Cup in Rome at the Palafijlkm in Ostia. Once again the Judo Shiai company of Piacenza becomes the protagonist in the first order events in the panorama of Italian and European Judo.
