Juarenses sweep in Conade State Judo Tournament

Ciudad Juárez.- Seventeen judokas from Juárez won gold medals in various categories, by participating in the Conade 2023 State Judo Championship over the weekend, held in Parral.
The president of the Ciudad Juárez Municipal Judo League, Israel Lozada, reported that in addition to the 17 gold medals, 6 silver and 8 bronze medals were won in the different categories.
The sporting event was held for three consecutive days; the strongest rivals to beat were those from Chihuahua and Parral, he commented.
Of 33 competitors, 23 were classified to participate in the regional macro that will take place on March 24 in Tijuana, Baja California.

“We expected these results because the representative from Ciudad Juárez was very well prepared. These are judokas who were national and international champions in previous competitions”, he expressed.

He said that Ana Michelle Aville Robles, Héctor De Ávila, Alejandro Atayde Alcocer, Abel Leonardo Lozada Martínez, Luz Angélica Enríquez Villalobos, Marialuisa Olivas Darancou, Alín Gardea, Diego Torres and Simón Tarín were classified to compete in the Macro Regional 2023.

Similarly, Andrés Sandoval, Diego Cordero, Efrén Rosales, Cristian Sáenz García, Luis Eduardo Armenta Santos, José Francisco Jaques, Diana Gutiérrez, Abril Payán Gastelum Ana Karen Rodríguez, Ashley Alejandra Moreno, Diana Alejandra Rosales, Montserrat González, Ángel Gabriel Atayde Alcocer and Emmanuel Samano.
