Höjlund goal paves the way for Atalanta’s win at Lazio

Atalanta Bergamo beat Lazio Roma 2-0 away on matchday 22 of Serie A. Ex-Sturm player Rasmus Höjlund scored his fifth goal of the season for the guests.

Before the Dane celebrates his goal, a full-back puts his name on the scoring list. Davide Zappacosta puts Atalanta ahead in the first half (23′).

Immediately after the change of sides, Lazio’s top striker Ciro Immobile missed the equalizer (48′), in return Rasmus Höjlund also failed the goalkeeper (49′).

After more than an hour, the Dane made it 2-0 after a pass from Ademola Lookman (65′). After that, little comes about on both sides, Atalanta brings the victory home.

The club from Bergamo jumps to third place and holds 41 points. At Lazio, on the other hand, a series of five unbeaten games breaks up, and the Romans slip down to sixth place (39 points).
