Albert Suárez has been a wild card for the Baltimore Orioles this season. This Saturday he demonstrated it again in his start against the Chicago White Sox at Guaranteed Rate Field.

He pitched four blank innings, only allowing two hits, walking a couple and striking out three opponents to reach 24 strikeouts and leave his ERA at 1.53.

It should be noted that he recently reached half a hundred appearances (in total he has 51) and with his four chapters of work this Saturday he reached 145 in his career. Those are pretty respectable numbers, considering his history in baseball. He is showing that he can perform at the highest level after a long absence.

Additionally, he left his WHIP in 29.1 episodes this year at 0.95. Meanwhile, opponents hit .192 against him.
