Hartberg pulls ex-Austrian Prokop ashore

TSV Hartberg struck again on the transfer market and brought in former Austrian Dominik Prokop. The midfielder was initially loaned out by the Croatian first division club HNK Gorica until the end of the season. According to Montag, Hartberg also has a purchase option for the 25-year-old. Prokop has played for Gorica since the end of August, before that he worked for Wehen Wiesbaden in the third German division.

“Dominik is a player who has already proven his abilities in Austria and has asserted himself at a big club, and has also dared to make the leap abroad. He’s at a great footballer age, fits the profile perfectly and will accompany us on our way,” said Hartberg’s head coach Markus Schopp. Prokop played for Austria until 2020 before his contract was not extended. He played in six league games at Gorica in autumn, most recently he was no longer in the squad.
