ATP ranking: Zverev slips, Djokovic dominates

The ATP ranking, whose Serbian Novak Djokovic took over the lead after his victory at the Australian Open, sees the German Alexander Zverev fall to 16th place on Monday. Zverev, still world No.2 at the end of August before disappearing from the circuit for several months due to a serious ankle injury, is the only member of the Top 20 to fall back after another slip which cost him two places.

The American Frances Tiafoe (+1, 14th) and the Spaniard Pablo Carreno (+1, 15th) took the opportunity to overtake the German, eliminated on Saturday by Switzerland in the Davis Cup.

Besides Djokovic, the podium continues to be occupied by the Spaniard Carlos Alcaraz followed by the Greek Stefanos Tsitsipas. In the Top 100, the progression of the week is the work of 25-year-old Russian Roman Safiullin, who rose from 18th place and rose to 82nd place after winning the Koblenz tournament.
