Great reason for pride. The Peruvian Para Badminton Teamby the hand of Pilar Jauregui, held a great tournament at the Spanish Para Badminton International Vitoria 2023, the first championship of the year as part of the qualifying circuit for the Santiago 2023 Parapan American Games and the 2024 Paris Paralympic Games. Peru added 3 gold and 5 bronze medals in both individual and double. Pilar achieved 3 medals.

The championship held in Spain brought together 328 athletes from around the world, with a view to the Paralympic circuit, which will continue with a tournament of a similar level in March.

Indeed, Pilar Jáuregui was decisive in the team, winning three medals: two gold (WH2 individual) and mixed doubles (WH1-WH2) and one bronze (WH1-WH2 doubles).
