Durant in Phoenix, Westbrook in Utah – RSI Swiss Radio and Television

Every year when the NBA transfer deadline approaches there are surprises, but this year has gone further. If Irving was the starter in Dallas, much more has happened in the last few hours, involving two of the most popular franchises, namely the Nets and Lakers, and two of the strongest players seen in recent years, Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook.

However, the two former teammates in Oklahoma are experiencing opposite situations. Durant was in fact sent from Brooklyn (who therefore got rid of the two most representative players in a few days) to the Phoenix Suns together with TJ Warren in exchange for Mikal Bridges, Cam Johnson, Jae Crowder and various choices and will train with Chris Paul , Devin Booker and DeAndre Ayton a potentially title team. Westbrook, on the other hand, entered into a three-way swap with Minnesota and Utah that will see him end up at the Jazz where he will likely be cut to free up salary space, while Los Angeles is reinforced with D’Angelo Russell (a return), Malik Beasley and Jarred Vanderbilt.
