The services of prevention and repression of drug dealing continue in the area of the hilly park of San Colombano al Lambro by the soldiers of the Compagnia di Stradella and Lodi.
In fact, last Sunday afternoon, the soldiers of the Arma searched the entire wooded and hilly area between the municipalities of Graffignana, San Colombano al Lambro and Miradolo Terme, as well as the adjacent rural areas of the plain located in Chignolo Po and Pieve Porto Morone, also affected by this phenomenon.
During the patrols, mostly carried out in dense vegetation areas, the military found wrappers containing a total of about 10 grams of heroin and about 50 grams of marijuana (as well as packaging material), hidden in the bushes and ready to be passed on to buyers of the area.
At the same time, two offenders were traced, identified and reported to the UTG of Pavia – as drug users – who, following a personal and vehicular search, were found in possession of a total of approximately 13 grams of cocaine and hashish.
One of them, SMB, a 30-year-old of Tunisian nationality, residing in Milan, was also reported in a state of freedom as he was found in possession of a wooden baseball bat, hidden in the trunk of his car.
During the patrols, 58 subjects were also identified, 49 vehicles checked and two fines against the Highway Code for driving without a license were issued.
The preventive activity by the Arma patrols employed in that area continues constantly also with the aim of increasing the perception of safety on the part of the many residents in that area, alarmed by the recent drug dealing episodes reported to the authorities.
