“Not our best performance” – BVB trembles against Chelsea to win

Edin Terzic still sees significant potential for improvement after winning the round of 16 first leg. Nevertheless, the BVB coach is above all satisfied with the fighting performance of his players. Terzic predicts that BVB will also have a lot of fun with Karim Adeyemi.

Dortmund celebrates an acclaimed victory in the first leg of the Champions League round of 16 over Chelsea. Things are also happening in the spectator stands, as Michael Ballack has to experience first-hand.

NAfter Karim Adeyemi’s winning goal against Chelsea, emotions ran high in the Dortmund stadium – the DAZN expert and ex-DFB captain Michael Ballack also felt it.

When the German national player Adeyemi scored for Borussia Dortmund in the round of 16 first leg of the Champions League (63rd minute), Ballack and DAZN commentator Uli Lever in the stands said they saw the exuberant joy of the fans up close. “I can tell you, we got the beer shower here, but hey, let’s take it with us,” Hebe told viewers.

Ballack’s subsequent comment caused some excitement on social media. “Asi, ey,” scolded the 2002 World Cup runner-up into the microphone. Another comment that Ballack apparently wanted to make was no longer heard, instead the spectators only heard the loud cheering of the fans in the stadium.

Ballack is not the only one to suffer

The 46-year-old Ballack has been working as an expert for the games of the Champions League for the fee-based Internet broadcaster DAZN since this season. During his career he was also previously active for the London club between 2006 and 2010.
