The leading team of the National Hockey League (NHL), the Boston Bruins, defeated the Toronto Maple Leafs on Wednesday, ending a three-game losing streak. The “Bruins” were superior on the road with 5:2 (0:0, 2:1, 3:1), achieving 39 victories in 51 matches and strengthening the leadership of the Eastern Conference and the entire league with 86 points.

Czech Pavel Zaha scored two goals for the winners, while Anthony John Greer, Brandon Carlo and Derek Forbort scored one each, and Charlie Coyle stood out with two assists. Mitchell Marner and Kalle Jarnkrok scored for the home team.

With 70 points in 52 games, the Maple Leafs are third in both the Eastern Conference and the entire league. All NHL teams will play their next games only after the league’s All-Star Game. which will take place on February 4 in Sunrise, Florida.
