In Lodi on the second day of the indoor baseball tournament, a good performance by the Under 12 of Legnano.
Baseball Legnano: good performance for the under 12s
In the first game, the boys faced the same age group of Cabs Seveso, a more mature team that immediately showed their skills. Legnano started hesitantly, not at all effective in innings where they failed to hit as they are capable. They showed themselves to be insecure in defence, they defended themselves with pitchers but Lodi’s bats still made the difference and the game finished 6-1 for Seveso.
“In the second game we played the home team, the Old Rags Lodi – they let Legnano Baseball know – This time the boys, driven by the recommendations of our coaches to charge them, showed that in attack they are able to assert themselves with some good jokes. Unfortunately the boys from Lodi kept a good guard managing to defend well and limit the damage. Some uncertainties in defense and a drop in pitchers simplified the game of the home team who managed to keep us at a distance and despite our recovery in the last inning, the game ended 4 to 3 for Lodi”.

Christopher Fiorini made a good team debut in his first experience with the Under 12s and without awe at bat. Filippo Brusaferri, Andrea Lagreca, Samuele Parise and Federico Mangano have taken turns in the role of pitchers, who are preparing, together with the other boys of the team, to form a large group of red and white pitchers to face the summer season in the best way. Now they are waiting for pairings with the teams of the other groups to find out where and when they will play the third day of the indoor tournament.
