Balmain makes a new foray into the world of streetwear. The luxury brand has just announced that it is once again collaborating with Puma and is unveiling a capsule entirely dedicated to basketball.

Here, we are all big basketball fans and the French are extremely attached to their favorite American teams. And honestly, is there a more fashionable group of athletes than basketball players? I have always been convinced that a mix between the modern Parisian luxury codes of Balmain and the emotion of basketball would be the perfect combination. I am very happy that Puma joins me and my team to prove that I was right”.

The flagship piece of the collection is none other than a pair of shoes intended for playing basketball. baptized “Balmain Court”, the shoe is intended to be a real accessory at the service of athletes. Crafted in Italian leather, it features a high-rebound ProFoam outsole. On the style side, sobriety is claimed with a black and gold tab signed Balmain. Men’s and women’s clothing completes the collection, always in streetwear codes: extra-large jackets, joggers, sweatshirts and jerseys.

To promote this collaboration, which will be released on February 18, Balmain and Puma have called on two big names in American basketball, namely Kyle Kuzma et Skylar Diggins-Smith.
