Archery – Challenge Pascal-Mourot. The departmental archers are decided in Thaon

On three starts, more than 100 archers competed this weekend at the La Poste gymnasium in Thaon-les-Vosges when shooting at targets at 18 meters. The opportunity to pay tribute to Pascal Mourot, the former president of the Thaon archery company, but also to award the departmental indoor titles in the different categories. A competition that was full of Vosges archers with a great delegation from Vagney, with many young people, but also from Vittel, Saint-Dié and Neufchâteau. Ranks completed by many clubs in the Grand Est.

The Thaonnais shine at home

The ex-Thaonnais Marie Lejeune and Valentin Joubert, who migrated for the Neuilly-sur-Marne club, still shot at home and ensured their standards with 564 points in recurve for Marie Lejeune, first in the women’s competition, and 574 points in compound bow for Valentin Joubert.

As for the departmental titles, the locals Léo Joubert, Timéo Accou and Lilian Sekli-Vautrin monopolized the U13 podium, completing the Thaonnaise harvest of Vincent Sudol (U15), Valentin Fontaine (U21), Jacky Sayer (senior 3), Margaux Simon -Joubert (senior 1) and Séverine Pierrard (senior 2).

In U11, the Voinrauds Ambroise Simon and Simon Boucherie set a date for the future, as did Flora André (Saint-Dié) in U15, who was able to measure up to the resident of the hope center Romane Hoelt-Thibaut (Chauny). Without forgetting the U18 recurve double of Elena Leroy and Théo Munding for Vagney.
