[더데일리뉴스] Cheongsong-gun (county governor Yoon Kyung-hee) recently announced at the Cheongsong-gun Sports Association (Chairman Lee Sang-gon) that it is invigorating the local economy by attracting badminton winter camps for middle and high schools, colleges and vocational teams across the country.
This winter off-campus training was conducted from January 30th to February 18th at the Cheongsong National Sports Center, divided into middle school, high school, university, and unemployment teams, and was held in Seosan Seongrim Middle School, Miryang Girls’ High School, and Inha. About 300 badminton players from 20 teams nationwide, including universities, Gimcheon City Hall, and Goyang City Hall, are working hard in training in Cheongsong to improve their skills.
Athletes, parents, and coaches who visited Cheongsong said, “The efficiency of off-campus training is doubling at Cheongsong-gun, an oxygen cafe with clean air and clean nature.” and expressed satisfaction.
In particular, during the training period, about 700 people, including players, parents, and coaches, visit Cheongsong tourist attractions such as Mt. It shows the effect of killing two birds with one stone.
Chairman Lee Sang-gon said, “I am very happy that many players from all over the country are training in Cheongsong, and I will do my best so that players and officials can concentrate on sports without any inconvenience.”
On the other hand, Cheongsong County Mayor Yoon Gyeong-hee said, “I hope badminton players across the country who are working hard in training despite the rather chilly winter weather will grow into the best players in the world through the field training conducted in Cheongsong.”
