Wait what ? So we went to check and Jabari Smith (Sr So) was actually playing for the Sacramento Kings in the 2003-2004 season. Franchise faced by James in his very first official game with the Cleveland Cavaliers. With already a “demonstration” in the key since he had 25 points, 6 rebounds, 9 assists and 4 steals. The Ohio team had lost against the last formation of Sacramento to have passed a round in the playoffs. But it was still an impressive performance for the 18-year-old on a long-awaited debut.
If he was present, Father Smith had not come into play. He had a fairly short and anecdotal career in the NBA: 108 games over four seasons. His son, Jabari Smith Jr, aspires to do much better after being drafted third by the Houston Rockets last June. As for LeBron James, he spent 48 points against the son almost twenty years after his first steps in the pros.
