Word on the matchday: SHE was the star of the Bundesliga matchday – BUNDESLIGA

The 18th Bundesliga matchday had a lot to talk about: Bang at Hertha BSC with the separation from Fredi BobicBayern’s next winless appearance, Werder-Retter filling jug, etc.

And yet one of the most notable scenes this time took place off the pitch. Before Bayern’s evening game against Eintracht Frankfurt (1-1), “Sky” expert Tabea Kemme (31) showed once again why she is a real stroke of luck for the pay station.

Unlike some of her male colleagues, the former national player is not afraid of big names, does not talk to them or pander to them. Guaranteed no snoring alarm!

This became clear during the conversation with Bayern coach Julian Nagelsmann (35), during which she did not spare criticism of Hasan Salihamidzic (46). The Munich sports director had described Serge Gnabry’s (27) fashion week trip to Paris between two Bundesliga games as “amateurish”. One could clearly see from Nagelsmann that he was visibly uncomfortable with the topic.

Even when Oliver Kahn (53) was a guest in the discussion afterwards, Kemme was unimpressed and clearly told the Bayern boss her opinion: “I think it’s basically an absolutely rude way to communicate something like that. If my sporting director had said that, I would have gone straight into the confrontation, because you don’t say something like that to the outside world.”

It doesn’t matter whether you share Tabea Kemme’s views or have a completely different opinion than Bayern boss Oliver Kahn: your appearances are an enrichment in the football TV landscape. No fooling around, no rhetoric, always straight forward. Very strong!

Incidentally, the same applies to Almuth Schult (31), who delivered a similarly strong performance as an ARD expert at the World Cup in Qatar. Top professional, honest and always to the point.

Would love to have more of this!
